Chapter 28 - A Week of Fun in Puerto Vallarta, MX

  Hello again, it's Corp & Tammy from Crabby & Chipper Travels!  On December 12, our fun in Bucerias sadly came to an end and we checked into the Capitol O Hotel in Puerto Vallarta to a surprising 12-day celebration of the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe.  The streets and public square were packed with people and vendors for the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe festivities. The festivities include pilgrimages that bring gifts to the Lade of Guadalupe church.  Some pilgrimages are very simple, and others are like the one above with beautiful elaborate costumes and traditional Mexican music playing.     There were more than 350 pilgrimages to the church during the 12-day festival. Chapter 27 - Back To One Of Our Favorite Places - Bucerias, MX

  L to R:  Me, Corp, Julie and Jamie, friends from MN on our hike from Boca DeTomatlan to Playa Las Animas.   Hello again, it's Corp & Tammy from Crabby & Chipper Travels!  This time, our adventures took us back to Bucerias and Puerto Vallarta, Mexico, both places we've enjoyed before. Our departure on November 21 allowed us to bypass the Thanksgiving Day airport rush, though we were surprised by a 2 1/2-hour wait at Immigration and Customs in Puerto Vallarta – the longest we've ever experienced. Interestingly, we discovered that you no longer need to fill out immigration forms on the plane, but still had to complete the customs form while waiting in line for Immigration. Upon reaching the Bungalows Arroyo, our home for three weeks, we were warmly welcomed by numerous familiar faces who remembered our names from our stay there in January 2022.
